Based in NYC, Geoff is a forward-deployed data scientist who builds machine learning models to solve high-stakes, physical-world problems - currently making maps, analyses, and models for cities such as Guadalajara, Detroit, and Bogotá. In the past, he’s built underwriting models, rolled out experiments, and used causal inference to grow loan portfolios for Mexican fintech startups - he’s also built models to anticipate and prevent gas explosions for global utility companies. Off the clock, he does graphic design for his own parties / events.
